Conservation & Resource Recovery,
Starts at Home.
Collect, Separate, Recycle, & Help Protect Nature.
Bin Diversion Recycling and Salvaging believes separation-at-source collection methods inside homes, businesses and organizations, are the most effective way to capture unwanted waste material for downstream recycling markets and new product development. It’s well known and documented that pre-sorted recycling waste is less contaminated which helps to ensure that these unwanted materials are preserved and remain a high-grade resource for reuse.
‘Waste haulers play a pivotal role by optimizing material collection and yield’
Why is recycling and resource recovery so important? MSW landfills throughout the world are filling up too quickly, reaching capacity, and producing methane gas which adversely impacts the environment and fuels climate change. Unregulated or poorly managed landfills, pollute the rivers and streams that flow into our oceans.
‘Recycling innovations and solutions are needed’
Some of the Earth's greatest landscapes are threatened by consumer behavior, unmanaged waste, and plastic pollution. For example, roughly 9% of all plastics produced in the world are recovered and recycled by the Solid Waste Management Industry! Plus, there’s an abundance of other single-use products, unsorted construction debris, and discarded merchandise or garments from impulse (purchasing) decisions going into landfills.
Our organization.
Bin Diversion Recycling and Salvaging is a Canadian cleantech business in the Solid Waste Management Industry who’s focused on resource recovery methods and technologies.
Member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and Coast Waste Management Association (CWMA).
‘The future looks bright’
Our goal is to protect environment and nature with waste management innovations and solutions.
Diversion with purpose.
Global waste diversion strategies of the future, require new ideas and collaborations. Bin Diversion Recycling and Salvaging is just one of many companies leading changes in recycling and resource recovery methods.
Our first patent pending solution targets flexible plastic packaging and discarded textiles. This low pressure compactor-baler assembly can be installed in most industrial, commercial and institutional locations. We minimize operational costs by increasing waste collection yield and reducing shipping frequency.
‘Join us and help make a difference’
The world needs like minded individuals to embrace recycling culture and be ambassadors for change.
